Manufacturer's Trolley & Battery Limited Warranty

While many companies only offer a limited one-year warranty, the QOD is backed by a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Please Note: In order for the terms of the warranty listed below to be valid, the manufacturer requires that you register your caddy and battery on our website within thirty days of receiving your QOD, and by doing so you acknowledge that you have read and understand the operating manual and the safety precautions contained therein.

The warranty details below are for customers in the contiguous 48 US States only. 

EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY:

Parts:

Every part of the electric golf caddy, including the lithium-ion battery, is covered under warranty for three years by the manufacturer so long as the part became non-functional while using it for its intended use, and the damage was not caused by user-error (using it as a beach stroller and accidentally sending it into the ocean will not be covered). The warranty does not guarantee the battery will last 36 holes per day for the entire three years of coverage due to variables in the customer’s charging routine, storage habits, and playing conditions. The warranty does guarantee the battery will last 18 holes per day for all three years so long as you maintain your battery as directed in the instruction guides and manual. Should you need a new battery outside or beyond warranty coverage, the price for our customers is always at our cost from the manufacturer. Additionally, we are pleased to offer a six (6) month warranty on all of our Accessories from their purchase date, so long as they were not broken by accident or user-error.

Labor:

Once a diagnoses has been determined over the phone or email, you will have options on how you would like to get your caddy working properly again. The quickest way is to send you a part that you can replace yourself using our step-by-step instructions. Or if you prefer, you may send your caddy in for a repair. All labor expenses for issues covered under warranty are free-of-charge during the first twelve (12) consecutive months following the date of your purchase. After the twelve-month warranty period, there is a flat fee of $39 for any in-house service. Every repair also includes a complete “tune-up” and cleaning of the caddy prior to returning it to you.

Shipping:

Shipping costs for any part or repair covered under warranty for the first six (6) consecutive months from the date of your purchase are included with the warranty. After the six-month period, any shipping costs incurred will be the responsibility of the customer, but you will receive the benefit of our discounted rates. We recommend keeping your original packaging so that you do not have to pay for any new packaging should you ever need to ship your QOD golf caddy back to us.

CONDITIONS:

1. The warranty is only valid in the contiguous 48 United States under the original purchaser's name, it is non-transferrable. Please keep receipt for proof of purchase.
2. As with all warranties, it does not cover parts or repairs due to normal wear and tear, such as (but not limited to) tread on tires, scratches, dents, etc. Nor does it cover damage caused by improper use, or accidents. Any QOD that has been altered or customized by the customer in any way is not covered under warranty.
3. All replacement parts or complete QOD caddies do not receive an extension of your original warranty period.
4. The QOD must not have ever been used for commercial purposes.
5. QOD Golf & QOD Golf USA shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damages due to the breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law.
6. We proudly offer this Express Warranty in addition to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
